Surf, Sun… Safari! Kenya is known for fabulous beaches and even more fabulous safaris. Here’s a fun way to take a break from the beach and sample some of our incredible wildlife. Anamic Adventures will pick you up from your resort and then it’s off to Tsavo East National Park for a very full day of discovery.
The largest park in Kenya and one of the most established, Tsavo East is renowned for its wild and rugged charm, plus its abundance of mammals and birdlife. Here you may spot unique species like the red-dust elephants who like to roll in the red-oxide soil of Tsavo.
Your safari day begins before dawn so you can take in the African sunrise en route and enjoy plenty of game-viewing time in the park. Tsavo East is an uncrowded reserve which means you’ll leave the hordes of tourists behind as you take in the park’s many wonders.
A Park Packed with Wildlife
There are hundreds of species of wildlife here but perhaps the most famous is the Tsavo lion. Many of the males lack characteristic manes but don’t be fooled – these big cats have a famous reputation as hunters.
You’ll also be on the lookout for leopard, cheetah, buffalo, elephant, duiker, impala, baboon and many other mammals. And over 500 species of birdlife including ostrich, buzzards and herons.
This busy day is a dawn to dusk safari experience so come prepared to see, discover and marvel at all that Tsavo has to offer.
We’ll then return you safe and sound back to your Diani Beach resort.
All-Inclusive. Your 1-Day Tsavo East safari includes all ground transportation, park entrance fees, game drives, buffet lunch and pickup/drop off at your Diani/Tiwi and south coast locations.
Transportation between parks and game viewing will be in a private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep – this vehicle is the safari standard with its higher seating and rugged all-wheel drive.

The Tsavo East day trip starts before dawn.
This allows you to marvel at  the African sunrise and to spend maximum time at the Tsavo East National Park.
Depart your Diani area location and make the ferry crossing at Likoni
Proceed along the Nairobi – Mombasa highway on a scenic 2.5 hour drive along smooth tarmac.
There shall be a short stop by the park entrance gate for breakfast or refreshments (not included in safari price)
