📅 Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Mombasa / Diani – Tsavo East National Park

Early Morning Pickup

  • 5:00 – 5:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel or residence in Mombasa or Diani Beach
  • Drive toward Tsavo East via Bachuma Gate (Mombasa) or Sala Gate (Diani)

Morning Game Drive

  • 8:30 AM: Enter Tsavo East National Park
  • Begin your first game drive en route to your lodge
  • Spot wildlife such as:
    • Elephants 🐘
    • Lions 🦁
    • Buffalo
    • Giraffes
    • Zebras
    • Antelopes and birdlife
  • Visit highlights including Aruba Dam, a popular gathering point for wildlife

Lunch & Check-in

  • 1:00 PM: Lunch at your selected safari lodge or tented camp
  • Time to relax, enjoy the views, or swim (depending on lodge facilities)

Afternoon Game Drive

  • 3:30 PM: Afternoon game drive across Tsavo’s open plains
  • Excellent time for photography and predator sightings

Evening & Overnight

  • Return to the lodge for dinner
  • Overnight stay inside Tsavo East National Park

Day 2: Tsavo East – Mombasa / Diani

Early Morning Game Drive

  • 6:30 AM: Early morning game drive at sunrise
  • Best chance to see active wildlife and predators
  • Enjoy the peaceful beauty of the park before breakfast

Breakfast & Final Game Viewing

  • Return to the lodge for breakfast
  • Short game drive as you head toward the park exit

Exit & Return to the Coast

  • 10:30 AM: Exit Tsavo East National Park
  • Drive back to Mombasa or Diani Beach
  • 4:00 – 5:00 PM: Drop-off at your hotel or residence
